9 things you didn't know about the nougat OS

1. Multi window
Now you can switch between apps with a double tap, and run two apps side by side. So go ahead and watch a movie while texting.

2. Doze on the go
Doze now helps save battery power even when you're on the move. So your device will still go into low power usage while you carry it in your pocket.

3. Customize quick setting
You can now customize your quick settings by simply;
a. Swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal the notification bar.
b. Tap the icon on the far-right of the notification bar or swipe down to reveal the full Quick Settings menu.
c. Tap Edit in the lower-right corner of the Quick Settings menu.
d. Long press on any tile to move, add or remove it from Quick Settings. The first nine tiles will be displayed on the primary Quick Settings page, additional tiles will be available by swiping to the left in Quick Settings.
e. Tap the back button in the upper or lower left of the screen to exit Edit mod

4. Data saver
Limit how much data your device uses with Data Saver. When Data Saver is turned on, apps in the background won't be able to access cell data.

5. Display size
Not only can you change the size of the text on your device, but the size of the icons and the experience itself.

6. Seamless Updates
On select new devices, software updates download in the background, so you won't have to wait while your device syncs with the latest security tools.

7.File-based Encryption
By encrypting at the file level, Android can better isolate and protect files for individual users on your device.

8.Direct Boot
Starting your device is faster and apps run securely even before you enter your password.

9.The OS speaks your language
Bring your words to life with updated and entirely new emoji, and the ability to use two or more languages at the same time.
